Karma Miracle is one of my all-time favourite tomatoes. It's flavour is incredible- it has the rich, balanced flavour of an heirloom beefsteak, but is incredibly sweet. The colour is an interesting red/brown/green/purple. Fruit shapes vary from round cherries to lobed, cocktail size. They've tied with Sungold two years in a row in blind taste tests! They are potato leaf, and have exserted stigmas. Bred by Karen Olivier in Alberta.
Karma Miracle is a great candidate for short seasons and gardens that aren't very warm. They also do well in heat, however. They both produce tons of tomatoes! This variety is a must-grow for me every year. The fruits are prone to cracking, so harvest when they start to turn colour and ripen indoors if you have this problem. Water consistently to help avoid this, and/or grow undercover. I promise they are worth it!
Growing Instructions
Growing Instructions
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before planting out date. In southwestern BC, I plant mid-March for planting out mid-May. Seeds from bottom heat when germinating. Grow in full sun. Stake plants with a tomato cage, trellis, or wires. Plants do best with minimal pruning. Fruits are ripe when they are slightly soft to the touch and colours have fully developed. Can pick slightly early and allow fruit to ripen indoors if they are prone to cracking.

This is the best tasting tomato I have eaten. Had ny first Greek Salad made with these tonight and I could barely believe my taste buds. Did some tomatoes crack? Sure. Who cares. I'll just eat them. I cant wait to taste a sauce made with them!
I've been growing this tomato variety from Michalina for 3 years now, and it is by far my favourite! I have tried up to 12 varieties in our large greenhouse and this is the winner. This variety has a really balanced rich flavour and is the perfect medium small size. We run a guest lodge and are super happy with all of the different varieties offered. The other review mentioned the tomatoes splitting - we don't find this is an issue if you pick promptly at first blush :)
First season trying this new variety in my garden and 99% of these tomatoes split. They were grown in the same conditions and soil as many other varieties and even when I picked them at the first sign of colour and brought them inside, they still split. Also a smaller tomato than I thought. Flavour average. Sadly I will not grow these again.
